At Heathrow - start of the big journey

An early start (5) got us to the airport with plenty of time and our nerves intact. Only heart in mouth moment was when I left the laptop bag including two iPads next to the more than 100ml bin at security / X-ray. Needless to say I legged it back through the boarding pass control (without s boarding card) to retrieve it, with about 20 seconds before it would have been crushed and then back through boarding still without my boarding pass- madness!!?We had breakfast and wandered around and the kids spent granny knit knits £10's.?boarded plane first and settled down to 13.5 hrs!!The kids did very well on the plane, playing games, watching movies and slept too. Intact Rosie was asleep when we landed!?Will try to blip whilst in Thailand.?Oh & I got zero sleep on the plane !!
