Stumbled across this lovely little film at the local dvd store,only two copies surrounded by the block busters featuring sweaty lads and lasses toting giant guns or staring down aliens.

Based on the diaries of Colin Clark documenting his time on the set of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl starring Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier. Clark ends up as confidant and general nice guy to Marilyn during her time on set while everything is collapsing around her ears.
Michelle Williams is truly fantastic as the very vulnerable and insecure Marilyn and a great ensemble of Brits are equally fantastic including 'royalty' Sir Ken, Sir Derek and Dame Judi.
