Another view about to change

This is the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens. It's been part of the gardens all my life.
We are so lucky in Edinburgh to have such an amazing open view over the Bandstand, the gardens and up to the castle,  right in the centre of town. The Bandstand is run by the council and sees concerts and events throughout the year particularly as the site for the spectacular festival fireworks concert and the New Year celebrations.
Sadly the Bandstand has come to the end of its life and is to be demolished.  Work starts next year on its replacement.
