Last night of the proms

First day back at band this morning. She enjoyed that some of her friends from school orchestra have joined now. I was doing a first aid course for work so she came to the last half of that. She enjoyed the fact the trainer had brought lots of haribo and even did some bandaging and sling tying.

We had a quiet few hours at home before we headed go Bs to watch the Last Night of the Proms. Katie organised a little party for the friends and had a gloriously excited, happy time dancing around. She chuckled a lot at the BBCSO principal flautist who had the best moustache she'd ever seen! Bless her, in the interval she had a snooze and woke up for Rule Britannia but drifted in and out of sleep after that. She kept saying how much she wanted to see but couldn't cos she was so tired! It was very cute
