Gold...

A quiet morning, mainly as the kids were listening to podcasts (what are ghosts and how is glass made, among the topics).

The eldest made the packed lunch (as part of his 'helping' homework from Cubs) and then we headed over to the Museum (via Brewlab for an extra caffeine hit).

A few hours wandering around, pressing buttons and generally enjoying checking out the exhibits.

We got a chance to see the Galloway hordes, which was pretty amazing. A haul of gold and silver Viking jewellery, much of it beautifully decorated, discovered down in Dumfries and Galloway.

A beautiful rainbow spotted on the way home.

Didn't find the gold though....next time.
