On Blackheath

Had another decent sleep last night and a bit of a lie in this morning.  We set off for the On Blackheath festival about 2pm - had a little wander around to see what was what, then watched the Fun Lovin' Criminals.  We then got a beer, had a listen to a bit of The Idles set on the other stage, then met up with my boss and her husband.  Watched KT Tunstall next, then Jake Bugg and Seasick Steve - with various food and drink stops in between.  

And then the main attraction - The Libertines.  Tim and I made our way right down into the crowd for this one - and it was brilliant!  As when we saw them in Belgium last year, they seemed reluctant to leave the stage at the end, bowing, throwing drumsticks, etc.  I captured Pete Doherty here chucking his boot out into the crowd, too - what a treat for the lucky catcher! 

Walked back to our flat with Nicola and Andy - they came in briefly, but then drove back home, and Tim and I stayed up for a little while longer, before collapsing into bed.
