Loughrigg

After packing Mr.B off down south for a few days I decided to risk the weather and take a walk around Loughrigg. Managed to dodge most of the showers although a couple of fearsome looking squalls came quite close.  The wind was strong and gusting on the exposed bits. The blip shows the rays highlighting the swollen River Brathay. The extra is a stitched panorama of the ever lovely Lily Tarn despite having lost its lonesome tree on the little island. Very wet underfoot and now I have quite a challenge to get my boots dry for tomorrow's walk.
