Last Day Of The Season

The outdoor pool officially closed for the season today; unfortunately the weather was miserable so there weren't many people there this morning apart from a few of us hardy regulars. We managed a few lengths and Chris & I conducted a post-match analysis of yesterday's game with our fellow Yeovil supporters, Howard & Steve.

In fact, the pool won't be totally closed for a while: Millfield, the local private school famed for its sports' facilities, is having its Olympic pool repaired still so they are using this pool until it's ready. Regular season ticket holders are being given use of the pool for an hour in the afternoon in between Millfield sessions, so our season is being extended.

This afternoon we picked, peeled, sliced and bagged 10 lbs of apples for the freezer.
