Sudbury Hall

We thought we'd have a look at a fairly new little shopping courtyard in the grounds of the Hall, which is a National Trust property.

By chance it was heritage day, celebrating 50 years since the Trust had taken the Hall on, and entry was free, so we had a wander round.

We were actually looking for a birthday gift for Sav's mum, which we found, and also found a standard lamp that we liked, so we bought that too. Saving that for an emergency blip!

I was very taken with the brickwork of the Hall - sent a pic to Joe ( see y'days Blip ) asking if he'd build a house in that style for me. " Of course " he replied. Better start doing the lottery again!
