Jaggy
Spent quite a while trying to pick all of the green beans that were lurking under the foliage - what a crop! A couple of artichoke heads that got away have come into full flower; I suppose, due to their thistly nature, that the goldfinches might enjoy the seeds.....we'll see.
On our way back across the Links we were treated to a fantastic aerial (but low-flying) display by swallows and martins, all zooming about snapping up any available insects to stock up for their long journey. Sorry to say goodbye to them for seven months or so.
