Reading glasses

The Sunday list was scuppered somewhat by the school server being down and home access being unavailable. I did want to try and fettle my emails but they'll have to be tackled once service resumes. I did manage to do some planning and reading - with the aid of my new glasses. They are taking a bit of getting used to but I suspect they have been long overdue. 

Bailey has had to largely amuse himself today other than a couple of walks in blustery weather. I've even had to put the heating on for an hour tonight. The usual pattern of nice weather in September once we've gone back to school does not appear to be materialising - not if very soggy washing two days in a row is anything to go by.
