Festival of the Horse?

Like yesterday a real mixed weather. Someone yesterday described my sky capture as "Biblical" well to day while walking the girls we got caught in a Biblical downpour! 
The morning started with normal showers, equine duties complete, and with the wind rising I took Badger into the orchard to let off steam while I picked some more apples. He had a lovely time rushing around the trees and long grass! 
Lunch was followed by a trip up Sledmere  House to the Festival of the Horse! Almost upon arrival the weather went down hill ( we being perched on top of one) and while there was some interesting exhibits that would have been of interest to my lens the heavy rain limited me to my offering above ( tweaked in Nik Silver Effects). We didn't tarry long . 
Arriving home the weather was much better dry and bright, but not long after we set off with the girls we were engulfed in a biblical downpour, the newly drilled field we were walking beside looked like a sheet of ground glass as the water fell so fast it could not soak in and the rest bounced in it!
It was a complete change of clothes not covered by waterproofs before going to do Jimmy's last check and finally getting to grips with roast chicken , potatoes, butternut squash and leaks!
