South Dakota again

I drove all the way to South Dakota today about 140 miles. We went via the With the wind winery and we did some more wine tasting. No we are not winos! I did buy a couple of bottles as they were lovely. I've been introduced to a wine called Moscato which is a fruity semi sweet fizzy wine on similar lines to prosecco an alternative to champagne. I will trawl Sainsbury's, Aldi etc to see if its available in the UK. Before we set off again I saw what I thought was an insect in the petunias as it was small but then I realised it was a hummingbird. It moved around so fast this was my best shot.
From the winery it was onto Aberdeen and we met up with Kathy who came on the trip to the hills in 1979. She hadn't changed a bit! We chatted for a couple of hours amazing how time flies and how quickly you can pick up with some people. Next stop dinner with Dianne's sister Nancy. I met Dennis Nancy's husband and Nick her son. We had a lovely few hours at their house then back on the road to North Dakota. It was dark when we set off and we watched a blood red moon rise over the horizon (my photos of it were awful but couldn't resist posting the best of a bad job) Nancy told us that the Northern Lights may be visible tonight, as we were travelling North we kept hoping we would see them but they were a no show!
