Knitting and kitten

I've just finished knitting a throw type thing and the kitten has rather taken to it. We need to teach her to be an outdoors-only kitten but we're too soft on her.

I was on a very lively visit this afternoon hearing from a lady how she'd had her ovaries stolen by a doctor during surgery. The doctor has now fled the country. Yet another reason to avoid the hospitals here if at all possible.
