Today's the day ......................... to say goodbye

How on earth are we going to manage now that our daily cycling fix of the Vuelta - and the Tour of Britain - has come to a joint end today?

We won't be able to see this man doing his best to come back from a bad injury in the Tour de France  earlier in the year - and trying to set things up for the Sky Team Leader, Elia Viviani.  At least the ToB finished in his home town of Cardiff - and he gained the award of the Best British Rider for several days in succession.

Actually, I'm off myself tomorrow on what some might call a sporty venture.  It's an annual thing - but it normally happens in May.  This time we've left it until this month.  I may not be able to blip as communications are likely to be somewhat basic, so I'll take my leave - and report back in due course ..........................!
