Success

My baking efforts of late have been disastrous.
So today I decided to make a Spiced Apple Torte with apples from the garden. I followed an old recipe and created a mountain of mess in the kitchen. Fortunately the results were very good and we enjoyed a slice each with afternoon coffee.

Shame about the lemon biscuits though, they baked perfectly but taste like plain short pastry.
Oh well, can't be successful all the time.
