York

Took my visitors to a rainy York thus afternoon and for me always a nostalgic return as I spent four years here as a student in the 1970s. Lovely afternoon as they explored the walls, the buildings, the Minster, Shambles and other sundry places. I tired quickly, no car so no scooter yet, so retreated to a quaint cafe for a relaxing coffee and they all joined me later. Then the rain came so we retreated back to the car.

Back home and meal booked for this evening, then we go in numerous directions tomorrow.
