A Woodpigeon in a Willow Tree

This morning this Woodpigeon sat in the willow tree that my balcony looks out on and was having a good preen. At that time, we were having some sunny spells but later on the sky clouded over completely. We didn't get any rain though.


While I was having my breakfast, I watched Casper having fun with his new ball of woven willow twigs filled with hay. He has also been speeding around his pen occasionally and having a rest afterwards.

It doesn't feel like I'm on holiday yet as today is one of my usual days off. I suspect it will only sink in tomorrow when I won't have to get up early.
