At the Market

Shopping and browsing in the twice-weekly market here (Tuesdays and Fridays) is always one of the highlights of our visits. The variety and quality of the produce is truly impressive, much of it from small growers who have an allotment or even just their back garden. Tomatoes, melons and rhubarb are all plentiful at the moment, and the carrots and leeks look pretty good too.
