Church fete

Where else but at a village church fete would someone spend their time using a spoon to feed marbles into the hole at the bottom of an upturned flower pot?

I believe the challenge was to get as many marbles as possible through the hole in just 60 seconds.  I'm not sure what the prize was for the highest score.
