Newington Nurseries

After enduring a hospital appointment today, my friend Jill took me to the exotic orchid centre at Newington Nurseries: there were some real stunners. More stunning was the ambience for afternoon tea: it was beautifully warm in the tropical glasshouse where tables for afternoon tea (or a champagne lunch if you want), are tucked away, hidden amongst deep green foliage, ferns, citrus and more, decorated with North African lanterns and colourful rugs and fabrics - it was just what was needed.
