Silly Saturday - Bird Edition..

Sorry Stellar Jay.. yes the family will be enjoying the backyard for awhile longer.. This Jay kept flying by, stopping on this fence, checking to see if we were still out there in the backyard.. As soon as we went in.. It came down for a dinner and a drink..

Rumor has it this hummingbird got a part playing an angel in a local play.. I think it got the pose down really well..

Of course this cute little bird on the lower left had to stop by and show us his new winter coat.. despite it being 72 F / 22 C outside..

And finally about 30 minutes before we went inside we had a scrub jay go postal on all of us.. Squawks and squeals everywhere giving us no peace.. Well shortly after we went inside we found out why.. He brought his girlfriend to the all you can eat bar and planned to take a nice bath together..until I accidentally interrupted them.. Kind of silly to think you have privacy in a public bath I think...  I still hope the had a nice evening back at his nest..

An easy ride home.. A fabulous time with family.. And way way way to much to eat... A wonderful day
