Granary

I've been fascinated by these granaries for the whole drive today, and was pretty happy to see the charmingest one of all right outside our house.  

All went smoother than we even hoped for.  We all had a little grump at 5 when the taxi picked us up, but we were over it before we got to the airport.  

All the rest was easy - Vigo airport.  I think I will make future holiday decisions not only on the basis of direct flights from Edinburgh, but also starting to apply a small airport criterion.   The only issue was the single immigration person. 

There's nothing that says holidays like having a brilliant (octopus, prawns) lunch in an unpromising roadside restaurant with foreign language football commentary blaring. 

I think we'll have a very relaxing week.
