I spent much of today bumbling around town looking at the paintings in progress for the Cheltenham Paint Festival.  I've not seen everything yet - there's a  load more to see that but I should be able to go and take a look at much of the rest during a lunch-break next week.

I also spent a lot of time waiting for the arrival of the riders for the end of the penultimate stage of the Tour of Britain.  Town was packed and to the delight of everyone no doubt it didn't half rain..................
