Lighthouse

Had by far the best sleep I've had all week last night - and didn't need to get up until 8:45, which was bliss (and also rather necessary after such a late night last night).  Went down to breakfast with my boss, then finished packing - and then headed over to The Lighthouse (the design and architecture centre).  One of my colleagues had come here on her break the other day, and told me there were good views from the top of the tower, so I had to go and check it out for myself.  Bit of a tiring climb to the top of this staircase, but well worth it!  There was also a really interesting small exhibition about Rennie Mackintosh (who designed this building) which I went round on my way back down.

Met back up with my boss over at the Gallery of Modern Art - and popped in for a very quick look - then we went back and checked out of our hotel and walked to the station to catch the train back to London,

So lovely to get home to Tim and have a super relaxed evening, with a takeaway, an episode of Fargo, and the first episode of Mitchell and Webb's new series, Back.  Brilliant!
