Great tit

I'd hoped to go somewhere different today but during the morning we had heavy rain and although it cleared up somewhat in the afternoon we'd both lost our enthusiasm for going anywhere. As the afternoon went on though I needed to go out and so it was back to the nature reserve for a short time;  not much to see really but nice to be out all the same and good to see the squirrels and these cheeky little birds.  There are posters up saying the work will all be completed in September, so fingers crossed it can't be too long until we can say "thank you and goodbye" to the engineers and have the nature reserve back for the wildlife.
