Back Blip - Lake

Today we drove south, and civilisation gradually returned. 

We stopped here at one of the 3 Million lakes in Alaska, and I grabbed this shot on my phone - I doubt the lake had a name, most of them don't, but for a little while it was just the three of us and this view.

On to Talkeetna, a real life town and all - with gift shops and cafes. And sunshine - we didn't know what to do with ourselves. So we ate pancakes. 

We arrived at the Knik River Lodge, the sun was out, the sky was blue and we settled down in our wooden cabins in the mountains ready for our final adventure of the trip.
