Aghia Kyriaki

Getting out with my sister in law for a walk to the Monastiri Aghia Kyriaki and being welcomed by some 20 nuns of the monastir as they had their service in the little church in the rock -bi-weekly they go there. A wonderful experience;no silence, no seclusion, willing to talk and some accepted being photographed. They do not fear God but do celbrate him.

They told me they are 40 at the monastiri and many of them are of young age, that is 20+ and 40- (they have a girl from Serbia amongst them since recent and she needs to master the greek language still!)
