My new students did their first performance of the year today. They had one week to prepare and rehearse their songs and they pretty much nailed it even though some of them haven't even performed in front of an audience before.

The highlight for me was this group that performed an ELO song (their choice and they didn't even know my connection. Imagine their surprise when my colleague announced it!)

With today being my dad's birthday it was a pretty prefect way to spend the day.
