Kazando Smiles
This is one of our families in Kazando (one of our poorest areas) with smiling faces.
The reason is the excellent maize in the background, meaning there will be no hunger this year: their harvest is secure.
After a difficult struggle with the community, we eventually got a dam built, sowed seed early and gave them a little fertilizer on condition that they made compost.
This is a very forceful woman who has two special needs children who I hope are placed in a special school by now.
I will fill in their names later.
This is a very good news story, as this time last year we had to bring them maize to prevent starvation
