Progress

The replacement lighting canopy for the aquarium arrived today, I happily unwrapped it and was gobsmacked. They hadn't sent any bulbs or fittings. Cue much head-scratching, which must have stimulated the odd dormant synapse because it suddenly clicked - the two fluorescent bulbs had been replaced by 63 tiny LCDs. Six of which are blue and can be switched on on their own. So there you have it, progress strikes the fishtank world. I wonder how many wee bulbs have to blow before I need to replace the lot?
