Criccieth

Rained overnight and l thought it was forecast for today too but we have been lucky to have had glorious sunshine all day.
Went to Porthmadog for provisions and luckily saw the Commonwealth Games baton being passed on along the main thoroughfare.
Local schools all turned out and the streets were lined with people proudly waving Welsh flags.
On the way back stopped in our favourite lay-by that overlooks Criccieth and took this photograph.
Just done some gardening and starting to prepare the caravan for overwintering but we will be back in October for a few more days and to close it down.
