Getting greedy

A few days ago I Blipped one of the squirrels that are stripping the walnut tree of its nuts. I don't know if they are getting a bit cocky or whether they are panicking that they don't have enough nuts in store already, but this morning I spotted this one with two nuts in his mouth. He was clearly struggling a little to carry them but still very determined. I don't know if the nuts were joined together or whether he had managed to get one into each side of his mouth but either way, it was impressive.

I had to dash to get my camera and also swap lenses when I saw him so only managed these two quick shots through the kitchen window.
