1049. Memorial to the Unknown Soldier

A great day today....warm and sunny for most of the day and a lot of walking. Headed into the Old Town this morning and had a look around the Museum of Warsaw then lunch and the bus out to a huge shopping centre where I bought myself a new pretty indestructible case for my wee camera, charger and batteries....just in case BA take my hand luggage off me for the return journey!

This memorial was guarded by two very austere looking young soldiers who told us off for walking to close and has an eternal flame as well as memorials to the fallen from 972 to 1963.... an interesting memorial....

Relaxing back at the hotel now as we're both a bit under the weather, I've been suffering awful dizzy spells for two days and hubby has a sore chest....hopefully some more warm weather tomorrow will improve things!
