Colleagues and friends - Nile side

This evening was spent with two lovely colleagues at the Sofitel which is spectacularly located on the Nile. They were good friends for the entire time in Cairo, and it was lovely to see them again and hear their news. 

Earlier I had a coffee with a friend, who is a lecturer in English at AUC and also an author. Her observations of expat life in Egypt are very witty and spot-on. Always a delight talking to her, and I hope to see her again this week. 

Fresh breezes and lovely to be outside tonight.
