Seen Under the Blossom

I am pleased that I went out first thing this morning while the sun was shining.  These pink blossom trees are by the Dinosaur Park and the Jetty.  The sun stayed out all morning, then the rain came down.  

A developer is starting to build a hotel to the right of this photo.  During the night the soil and mud slid down the hill, and across Lakeside Road, and luckily came to a standstill before it fell into the lake.  I don't know why they have been allowed to build there, as there are lots of natural springs in the area.  I feel sorry for the people living on top of the hill, they are in a precarious position!!

I am off out for a pot luck dinner tonight, looking forward to it.
