Breakfast with a View

This is the front terrace and the view at the house where we are staying. Beyond this short canal is Gardiner's Bay and it is only a 3-minute walk to the beach.  The day started out so beautiful but deteriorated quickly into intermittent severe thunderstorms, so most of the day was spent indoors. Lots of quiet time for reading and a nap. 

Please have a look in large as the image is much sharper.  I really don't understand why this happens.
