Flightdeck of the "Beachcomber" Flying Boat.

This was taken at Solent Sky, an aviation museum in Southampton. The plane is a Short S.25 Sandringham, which is much bigger than it sounds.


The first extra is of Alliott Verdon Roe, of AVRO fame, an early inventor and aviator. The second is John and I on the flight deck of the flying boat. The third is an ejector seat c1946 which just caught my eye as I was "ejected" in 1946, but not quite so quickly!
