A dog walked past the window. Major crisis. A 4 part harmony arooo/howl session to alert the family to the immanent danger of invasion. They all get a bit carried away then look at us for instruction to stop.

I saw a sign outside a cafe which explained my phenomenon of endless chatting after having lunch with friends. It's called sobremesa, translated roughly from Spanish as "over the table" where people just relax and talk after a meal enjoying each other's company. This happens to me a lot. Not that I am a lady who lunches, ahem...
