Coming Home

One of the nice things about having a Bahnkarte (Railcard) is you get to use the Deutsche-Bahn Lounges, which mean you don't have to hang around on platforms.  And when you have a 1st Class Bahnkarte you get free drinks and food.  Well, G does.  I always say no.  One because I don't like the look of the sandwiches at all, and 2 because I don't drink coffee and I don't want a beer at 10:30 in the  morning (didn't put anyone else off).

And I'm pleased to report that the ICE from München was on-time (that's 2 journeys in a row) and that we made our connection to Wiesbaden in plenty of time.

That train was also on time and that meant we got to see the cats at just before 5 this afternoon.  I think I was happier about that than the cats.

Now to track down the dastard that has let dandelions flower in the lawn...

Great as München is, I love coming home.
