Northern Drum

Another beautiful Shetland day. This afternoon walked from Quendale up over Fitful Head and back round Garth Ness. A magnificent coastal walk - we may never do it with less breeze or as much sun! This is the communications dish on the top of Fitful Head. A very steep climb down from there had the knees protesting but the reward was hearing the cry of the selkies down below us and porpoises swimming in Quendale Bay as we walked back up the road to the car.
