It’s a Pohutukara, one of NZ’s prettiest trees when in flower…Not yet as it flowers big time nearest to Christmas. 

The Boss went looking for this sort of image this morning as the sun was out and low in the sky. This is a multipurpose image as it was also taken for his Photo groups theme this month.
A lovely morning out and about and off to a concert tonight which I will miss as he will probably be bagless.
