Day 6 Porto Bello Royale Kos

Today we visited Kos Town, about an hour on the bus at the far end of the island. By the harbour we spotted some of the damage caused by the recent earthquake. In the 'Sunshine Beach' photo you can see Turkey in the background, I couldn't believe how close it is. 'Beach' was stretching it rather for the strip of land that this was on but there were people spending the day there unbelievably! 
We walked up to the marina; around the harbour; around the outside of the castle, where I spotted the graffiti shown in the main photo; took a little train ride around the streets; did a bit of shopping and took lots of photos. A lovely place to visit but not quite as nice as Rhodes Town. I wish we could have stayed for longer but there was only one bus back and taxis were really expensive.
