Old Winchester Hill - WildWed75

Today I went with V and Jax for a picnic on Old Winchester Hill.  Yes, I have blipped from here before, though not for quite a while.  But the flock of Herdwicks were still up there and although the weather was blowy and part cloudy, it has been the 'best' day of the week weatherwise and we did get some rather fugitive sun.

Old Winchester Hill is one of Hampshire's many Iron Age Hillforts.  As you can see, the views are spectacular in every direction.  You can see V and J sitting on the ramparts in Extras.  Really, we had a lovely time.  Now however, I must pull myself together and cook supper.
