Floods

A view from Ouse Bridge in York this morning,
looking onto Kings Staithe and the pub there.
Normally you can sit out on the cobbles and enjoy
a pint. The river was supposed to peak today and was
currently running at 5mtrs+ above normal. Opposite bank
where all the expensive Quayside flats are, the underground
car park and 1st floor flats were under water. Its still chaos
on all the surrounding roads thanks to this..
