And they call this puppy love............

J went out early this morning, to start the annual tree trimming. I went out a little later, to do the brushing and gathering up of the trimmings. A little Jack Russell, came running up to J, and then ran down the road, towards a young man. J asked him if the dog was his, and he thought it was ours. I checked out her dog tag, and I could see her name, address, & telephone number. The young man phoned the owner, and said we would return the dog, who was called Suke.  I took her around our back garden, and got my camera, thinking it would a  good  blip opportunity. J was going to take her back in the car, but I decided to walk her home, so that J could carry on trimming the trees. We have had a few Jack Russell's in the past, and I know we kept the lead, but we couldn't find it anywhere,so we tied a piece of rope to her lead, and off we went.  She was really well behaved, and  when we got to her home, I knocked the door, and her owner didn't even say thank you. She said that Suke, was a rescue dog, and she had owned her about seven years, but she said, she keeps running away. I am wondering if there is a reason for that, and  I was sad to see her go. I walked back home, feeling quite sad, but by the time I  got back, J had nearly finished the trees, so I had to get stuck in, and gather up the rubbish. We filled a lot of black bags, and then stopped for a quick coffee.  This afternoon, J took down the kidney beans, as they are past it now.  We took all the rubbish up the tip, and luckily, it was quiet. So all in all, a good day's work. When I woke up this morning, I thought that J trimming the trees was going to be my blip, but instead, you have Suke. You just never know what each day is going to bring, do you?
