Funeral procession
This white ship Blue White Eagle was abandoned since 2012 due of original owner's liquodation. Cruise ship was parked at the pier in the front of local big hotel and holiday resort on 2011. Since 2012 it has been a nasty pain in the ass of local municipal environmental authorities, because of several owner changes and promises that it will be repaired back in cruising use or to be moved somewhere else from Lappeenranta.
However, those promises never became to reality and the whole process seemed to be a neverending farce. Local Hito Hyvä brand company even manufactured T-shirts of it, because anyone didn't believe that the ship will ever be moved away...Until this August, when Finnish maritime logistics company bought it with 2000 euros in purpose to use it as material in their new old ships recycling investigation program.
Today the final journey to Naantali started via Saimaa Canal, because it's the only route from Lake Saimaa to Gulf of Finland. Lot's of local people were following the final journey at Saimaa Canal. It was really like a funeral procession, which inspired me to this blip.
