Terracotta day....

Such an amazing find. I liked this picture because it looked as if they were going to climb out!

It was fun seeing people working on the models....they have opened a new museum, from the first of September this year, with some wonderful figures. There's a chrome plated sword that was produced 2,000 years ago ...the West discovered how to do it in 1924. Especially nice is the bronze chariot which I've included in the extras.

We were especially lucky to visit an archeological museum not open to the public to see some artifacts from previous dynasties, some going back 3,000 years.
