A birthday gathering

Today is my dear friend Ev's birthday. And I tend to think that every birthday we can celebrate with her is an absolute treat. She is VERY special.

We had quite a few ladies, plus our pastor, join us at our local Chinese in DB. It was lovely and I know she was thrilled. Our friend Esther made her this very lovely rice crispies cake. I'd never had one before.

I then headed into two with Jon and Ben for a last shop before they fly out on Wednesday.

We managed to get it all done and thankfully martin was on the ferry to help me carry it all home.

Exhausted I am!

And then just before I went to bed, I heard from Ev that she was in hospital!!!!
