Portsmouth - Spinnaker tower

Standing at 170 metres tall amongst all the naval buildings and old sailing vessels this is a rather graceful building. We were in Portsmouth to catch the Pont Avon to Santander in Northern Spain, sailing down past France, through the Bay of Biscay and 24 hours later arriving in the lovely Cantabrian capital city of Santander.
Our trip has been extended somewhat as in the middle of the night the boat stopped for a medical emergency as a helicopter picked up a passenger taking them to the nearest country
